I'm going to take a little detour here and tell you how my life was changed. I grew up in the church (I was born on a Thursday and I was in church on Sunday). My parents were pastors for years. Many people would expect me to not want to be involved in church after that, but God had my heart the whole time.

When I was in Junior High, I turned away from God because I had too many doubts in my mind. I'm an incredibly analytical person, so when I didn't feel God I assumed maybe He wasn't real. That's when I experienced God again at HighPointe Church.

I had always experienced God and His presence at conferences and out-of-town youth trips, but my analytical personality began to believe that maybe it was just emotions from being on vacation that was manufacturing my feelings. When I came to HighPointe, everything changed.

At the time, HighPointe Church met in a bowling alley. It was really cool, there were neon lights, doughnuts, and about 100 people. But that wasn't what did it for me. The Spirit of God is what grabbed a hold of my heart. I came to HighPointe broken and depressed, chained by addiction. When worship began and the presence of God was magnified, I broke down into tears as God showed me, "I'm real." I never thought that I could experience God's presence the way that I have at HighPointe, and now it isn't contained to a church building. We are carriers of God's presence and He goes with us wherever we go!

HighPointe Church is located at 90 County Road 539 in Enterprise, AL. We have grown from a bowling alley, to a small private school building, to a larger complex on Boll Weevil Circle. We have grown to around 1500 people and we are seeing countless lives changed (177 salvations on Easter Sunday). We have all different kinds of people from all ages. You can consider this your personal invitation to HighPointe Church! You will find that you are right at home when you pull onto the property. Nothing weird, just Jesus.
